Welcome

My name is Christine Laliberté and I was introduced to lure coursing in 1997 by Lynn Cleary [Clearhounds Whippet] and since, mentored by Laurie Soutar [Lakilanni Greyhounds]. We are dedicated to offering a safe place where owners & their pets can participate in the wonderful outdoor sport of LURE COURSING!

One-on-one lessons to introduce you & your pet to lure coursing. We offer a personalized learning approach to provide the best environment for a novice dog.

We also offer training and practice sessions to experienced coursers.                              

We are working closely with coursing clubs in Ontario who are supporting Coursing Aptitude Tests (CAT), licensed titles (CKC, UKC), and  Lure Coursing Instinct (ASFA).

The facility is available for hosting Lure Coursing trials and/or Conformation Shows under sanctioned kennel clubs (i.e., CKC, UKC, ASFA). Other dog activity clubs (e.g., barn hunting) are also welcome to utilize our site.

Pricing

Lure Coursing Practice

Two practice runs

$20

Two practice runs with a short break in between (this can be two runs for one dog, or two single runs for two dogs).  


Unlimited hour

$40

Have your dog(s) run as many times as you want in one hour 

(limited to one owner and their own dogs). Choose this option if you own 3+ dogs, as most dogs can't handle more than 2-3 runs.

Battery powered, continuous-loop lure machines will be used. The lure will consist of white plastic bags that are tied to a string, simulating a rabbit running away. We will work closely with you to cater the course to your dog's experience and needs. A hunt master will be on-site to help set-up and ensure your and your dog's safety.

Portable toilet on site

Water cool off station for your dog

Strict COVID-19 measures in place (e.g., only one client at a time, thoroughly disinfected surfaces between clients, social distancing, etc)
